Located in the vibrant heart of Lipa City, Lipa City Panciteria beckons food enthusiasts with its rich culinary heritage, particularly famed for its Batangas Lomi. Established in 1968, this restaurant has retained its nostalgic charm while serving timeless flavors that resonate with locals and visitors alike. Many reviewers echo a unified sentiment: the Lomi here is not just a meal but a culinary experience steeped in tradition.
Customers rave about the generous servings and the heartwarming, thick consistency of the Lomi, making it a perfect choice for sharing during mirienda. Review highlights
Based on 103 reviewsLipa City Panciteria is widely recognized as the birthplace of the iconic Batangas Lomi, attracting both longtime locals and new visitors eager to experience this traditional dish. Reviewers consistently praise the rich, thick consistency and flavorful taste of their Lomi, often describing it as a nostalgic comfort food with generous portions suitable for sharing. While the food and service receive positive remarks for quality and efficiency, some feedback highlights the restaurant's dated interior and lack of air conditioning, which can affect the overall dining comfort. Despite this, its reputation as a historic and authentic culinary spot remains strong, with patrons appreciating its enduring legacy and dedication to preserving local flavors.
The food is good and service is fast. Only, there's no air-conditioning and so it's hot.
This is where the famed Batangas Lomi was born. A must try!
A tribute and homage to a vintage to local food spot where lomi started its humble beginnings... a lomi as it used to be... people still flocking the place to a feel good lomi... which most grown up to eating... hope it will keep up the traditions and up keep the place.
Lomi since 1968. It was my mom and dad’s lomian back then. It tastes good as usual. Wala lang sila yung madami sahog :3. But it’s fine. Kudos
We tried the classic special Lomi. As always, the serving was plenty enough to be shared by 2-3 people if you're after a mirienda. Their Lomi has a thicker consistency, and the flavor is more noticeable compared to the other ones we tried (also has a darker color). I wish they could revamped the interior of the restaurant as it's quite dark and old already, but the overall aesthetic is okay as it feels like a go to eatery within the vicinity of Lipa's market.
